Tracy Drumm is an accomplished senior marketing executive with 12 years of experience in aesthetic medical marketing. She specializes in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans for pharmaceutical and medical device companies as well as private practices around the world. She is known for her unique, creative and results-driven strategies that consistently produce substantial growth.
Tracy’s passion for marketing and experience working in a practice inspired her to create a medical marketing company designed to help practices grow. Launched in 2006, IF Marketing served over 1,000 physicians globally. Created with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Dayan, the company was based on a unique “lab concept” that allowed the firm to develop tools and strategies in an incubator-style setting. This method produced case studies that quantified the success of each tool before it was brought to market. Over the span of nearly a decade, IF Marketing created 200 proprietary practice marketing tools that were then customized for use by clients world-wide.
As Vice President of IF Marketing for eight years, Tracy also provided consulting and marketing services to pharmaceutical and device companies including Allergan, Medicis, Merz, Valeant, L’Oreal, Kythera, Zeltiq, Artefill, Suneva, Clarion, Lumenis, Syneron, Alma Lasers, NeoGraft, Myoscience, Pelleve, Clarisonic and more.
Drumm currently serves on the advisory board for Modern Aesthetics Magazine and has published over 100 articles in leading trade publications. She has authored three books, Keys to Success: Marketing & Practice Management, THRIVE: Pearls to Prosper in Any Economy and her most recent book DRIVE: The Power of Execution serves as the marketing text book for many aesthetic salesforces and thousands of practices around the world.
She is elevated by educating others and spends many of her weekends training physicians, allied health professionals and sales representatives. Known as a dynamic and energetic presenter, Tracy has delivered well over 300 presentations in Australia, Canada, China, France, India, Italy, Turkey and at numerous national conferences throughout the United States. She has helped to bring cutting-edge seminars to the industry by serving as the Course Director for 10 national and international conferences. In 2009, her commitment to teaching and leading provided her with the opportunity to serve as the Vice Present of the Organization of Facial Plastic Surgery assistant for one year, and as the President for two years.
Working closely with local and national media, Tracy has successfully placed over 50 aesthetic news segments on networks including CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, WGN and the History Chanel. Additionally, she has secured over 50 print articles in national publications including Vogue, Glamour, Oprah Magazine, W, Elle, Marie Claire and Life & Style.
Through clients of IF Marketing, Tracy has served as Creative Director for more than 100 national marketing campaigns and has a proven record of success with engagements delivering an average of 15-20% annual revenue growth for clients.
Since the acquisition of IF Marketing in January of 2014 by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Tracy has moved into an independent consulting role where she continues to passionately provide marketing strategies and services to the industry she loves.
